Each year, Missouri APT awards 2 scholarships to members, to be used towards MAPT sponsored events…including the annual conference!
Dr. Shirley Hendricks Scholarship($500)
The purpose of the Scholarship is to assist a mental health professional working toward becoming a Registered Play Therapist.

The purpose of the Scholarship is to assist a Master’s level student preparing to become a mental health professional who is working toward becoming a Registered Play Therapist.

Outstanding Play Therapist Award
Each year, Missouri APT highlights our outstanding play therapists. There are two awards that are presented each year. One is for those play therapists in the school setting, the other is for those play therapists who practice in the community. If you know a fabulous play therapist who is changing the lives of children daily, complete the nomination packet so he/she can be honored at our annual conference.
