Play Therapy with Groups

$90 – $145This workshop is designed for the beginner as well as the advanced play therapist, school counselors, teachers, social workers, and anyone who works with children. Participates will get a brief overview of play therapy and groups. Participates will learn play therapy techniques that they can use with children in the group settings immediately.
PRESENTERS:
Jennie Wilson is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor and a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor. Jennie also obtained her play therapy training through Mid America Nazarenes Play Therapy Certificate Program. Jennie enjoys working with children and adolescents in her private practice as well as working with counselors in the school setting, educating and supporting them in regards to play therapy. When not working, Jennie enjoys volunteering with the youth ministry program at her church.
Katie Clayton is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor. Katie obtained her play therapy training through Mid America Nazarene’s Play Therapy Certificate Program. At present, Katie enjoys working with children and families at her private practice and occasionally presenting trainings to others interested in using play therapy in their work. When not working, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids and running around outside!

Cancellation policy:
Refunds will be given for paid continuing education training cancelled by MAPT and for when MAPT relocates training to another region of the state. For attendees who cancel 48 hours prior to the start of the training, a MAPT CREDIT will be provided to attendees for the amount paid, and can be used at a future MAPT training.
